Mary Lee Kortes

Mary Lee Kortes is a musician and author based in Brooklyn, New York. She has released five albums of original material to wide critical acclaim, each landing on the Billboard critics’ top-ten list in the year of its debut.

Her latest project expands the album form into a fictional musical history: twelve original compositions built around the life and surviving songs of Depression-era singer-songwriter Beulah Rowley.
