Ian Dury

A British singer-songwriter and actor who rose to fame during the late 1970s punk and new-wave era, as lead singer of Ian Dury and the Blockheads and, before that, Kilburn and the High Roads.

East Central One’s first release was ‘Mr Love Pants’. After Ian’s death in 2000, the label compiled a tribute to ‘New Boots & Panties’ featuring Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams, Cerys Matthews, Sinéad O’Connor and others.
